Jo Jo Soprano

Roanoke / Salem / Lynchburg region

Jo Jo Soprano loves to put a drink in your hand, a delicious meal on your plate, and a smile on your face. While he started his career after college as a radio DJ, Jo Jo now moves to a different beat — the fast and fun pace of restaurants.

Anissa, Jo Jo’s wife and the General Manager at Tuco’s, encouraged him to give the hospitality business a try. And he did — from the ground up. Jo Jo began washing dishes and soon moved into a variety of other roles: assistant kitchen manager, kitchen manager, general manager, and then managing multiple restaurants. He excelled in opening restaurants and re-opening them after COVID lockdowns. He also creates drink menus and handles the Point of Sale (POS) system for PRG.

With every day presenting new rewards and challenges, Jo Jo enjoys the rhythms of the restaurant business. Even more, he strives to satisfy customers. He says there are few things in life as pleasurable as food and drink. When he’s not at work, the self-proclaimed “travel freak” enjoys a good meal on the road.
